Airline Stocks (DAL, LUV, UAL, AAL): Travel Demand Coming Back?

According to the Delta Airlines (DAL) CEO, travel demand will continue and capacity will start increasing. “Delta Airlines (DAL), Southwest Airlines (LUV), and United Airlines (UAL) have higher consumer happiness than American Airlines (AAL). Overall trends that are pushing this is international travel, traveling for work, and flying for leisure social media mentions are all up year-over-year. However, there are still concerns about flight cancellations. Based on the LikeFolio Earnings Score Momentum, I am bearish on LUV, AAL, and UAL, while being neutral on DAL,” says LikeFolio’s Landon Swan. Tom White and Kevin Hincks weigh in on how airline and new car demand could remain robust due to pent up demand.
