Delta Airlines (DAL) Earnings Preview: Air Travel Coming Back

"Travel is coming back with air travel as the number one preference. Every so often, airlines need a bail out because of the cyclicality of the business. During Covid, Delta Airlines (DAL) was buying back 5% of stocks as year, but has not recently," says David Nelson. "Delta Airlines (DAL) had a strong recovery post-Covid and differs from peers that are still struggling. Recession may impact demand, but increase in U.S. household savings from 2020 to 2021 could sustain travel spending," says Colin Scarola.
