DoorDash (DASH): Decline In Food Delivery, But Still A Leader

Is DoorDash (DASH) used as much now as it was during the pandemic? The food delivery company owns 50% of market share. “Inflation is continuing to weigh on consumers and one of their top concerns is food prices. A headwind for DoorDash (DASH) is that social media mentions of people going to a restaurant is up year-over-year. Grocery delivery and generic food delivery mentions for the same time period are down. However, DoorDash is the leader among its competitors like GrubHub, Uber Eats, and Postmates,” says LikeFolio’s Megan Brantley. Tom White and Kevin Hincks weigh in on DoorDash still not being profitable after their IPO.
