Ellen Wald, PH.D. On How Middle East Tensions Affect The Oil Market

Ellen Wald, PH.D., President of Transversal Consulting and Author, sees there are signs that the tightness in crude is artificial. She says the recent attack on the Saudi's didn't really do that much to the Saudi facilities and they are still exporting exporting oil as normal. She says the U.S. is down to about 11 million barrels of production per day, about 2 million barrels down from the height of 13 million per day. She adds that it's not just the U.S. that can add more oil to the market.
