Inflation Coming In Hot?

“I think it's going to take a pretty significant number below the estimate, for people to actually believe ‘ok maybe we have seen a top’.” Scott Bauer is cautious on the upcoming inflation reports set to be released later this week. He believes the market is setup to be disappointed by a hot inflation reading and there is potential for continued volatility for the foreseeable future. Even with elevated volatility and the potential for the VIX to increase from here, he is not very confident in buying volatility currently.
