2023 has started very cyclical, so far, says Randy Frederick. He and Cooper Howard give a recap of the market today. They note that markets close mixed and preview United Airlines (UAL) earnings ahead. Cooper notes that tomorrow we get data on retail sales and PPI, and the expectations are for PPI to show disinflation in the pipeline. They then go over the S&P 500 winners which include Tesla (TSLA), Morgan Stanley (MS), and Nvidia (NVDA), and losers Emerson (EMR), Goldman Sachs (GS), and Mohawk Industries (MHK).
