As Russia invades Ukraine investors question how the conflict will impact financial markets. Dryden Pence explains that war is a supply chain disruptor – on top of existing supply chain bottlenecks – that will impact inflation possibly through next year. Pence also says the conflict will likely slow the Federal Reserve’s rate of increase expected this year and that instead of money going into interest rates it will be directed into gas tanks as energy prices soar.
