Matthew Pierce says the recent lower move in rates is transitory in nature and simply represents a consolidation. The overhead resistance in the 10 year yield was strong, and daily pullback in the cyclical recovery stocks is profit taking and not meaningful in the context of the overall trend. Matthew also believes the bond market will eventually lose appetitive for the enormous levels of fiscal stimulus and the Fed may have to adjust the duration of bonds it is currently buying.
