Ford (F) Motor Company Unleashes The Lightning

Ford Motor Company (F) is today’s Under 30-stock. In this segment Jenny Horne and Alex Coffey discuss Ford with George Tsilis. Jenny and Alex talk about Ford delivering the all-electric F-150Lightning and how the semiconductor shortage has negatively affected the company. George talks about Ford’s net income and their significant achievements over the past year but the stock has been falling despite that. George says the entire industry is down about 5%. Alex asks George about the reasons the industry is suffering and asks if there is something specific to Ford. George looks at Ford (F) sales, which 70% is in the north American market but that international sales are down, in China specifically, Ford (F) which is down 18%. He compares that to Tesla (TSLA) sales in China which are up.
