Gold Price Rises Alongside Market Volatility

"Gold and silver have not been an inflation hedge since 2020. Even though, I am still bullish on the gold price. As the U.S. Dollar broke a key price level, the Japanese Yen bounced off a 20-year low. As a result, investors are getting out of the U.S. Dollar trade, which is causing the price action in gold," says Chris Robinson. What is the correlation between the price of gold and the U.S. Dollar? The gold price has not been above $1,900 since May 5th. "Overall, gold has not been a very good trade as it has remained flat recently," Robinson adds.
