“From a yearly perspective, I am still bearish. The S&P 500 or SPX is expected to decline back to the 3,730 level or lower in 2023. This means that any bounces prior to that should be viewed as an ongoing downtrend. The strong conviction has to do with technical analysis as it can precede fundamental analysis,” says David Williams.
