Russia's High Wheat Supply Has Caused The Commodity's Price To Drop

There has been more wheat supply outside of Eastern Europe than expected, which has caused the price to drop. Wheat Futures (/ZW) fall after projections of a larger-than-expected crop in Russia. Russia is expected to harvest over 90M metric tons of wheat in 2022. "Parts of Western Europe had drought, but this did not hurt Russian wheat. There is also speculation about wheat coming from Ukraine," says Chris Robinson.
