"Trading volumes are spiking in ultra-short-dated options and strong interest in index options with year-to-date volumes is up 30% from 2021. Year-to-date volume in single-stock options is down 16% after two huge growth years in 2020 and 2021. S&P 500 Index (SPX) options are now available with expiries every day of the week.
