Stock Market Today: CMG & META Strength, ROKU Weakness

The Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Russell 2000 all closed lower, while the Nasdaq-100 ended in the green. Information technology was the only bright spot among all eleven S&P 500 sectors. Chipotle (CMG) touched new all-time highs after reporting first quarter results that beat expectations. Meta Platforms (META) reported a beat on top and bottom line in its first quarter, and raised its second quarter revenue ahead of prior forecasts. Roku (ROKU) posted quarterly losses that exceeded the street's expectations, but fell substantially from losses reported a year ago. Tomorrow, look out for GDP, Jobless Claims, and Pending Home Sales on the economic data front, and as for earnings watch for American Airlines (AAL), Caterpillar (CAT), Mastercard (MA), Southwest (LUV), Amazon (AMZN), Intel (INTC), and First Solar (FSLR).
