Li Auto (LI), Southwest Airlines (LUV) and Comcast (CMCSA) are all stocks on the move. Jeff Pierce joins Oliver Renick to discuss these names. LI’s earnings were released Monday, August 15th and revenue came in below estimates. They talk about how deliveries are up but profits are down causing the company to struggle. They then go over how crude oil (/CL) has fallen below $90 as Chinese consumer and factory data misses estimates. Next, Argus downgraded LUV to hold from buy and the analyst says that the stock is at risk of inflationary pressures and capacity constraints. Finally, they discuss how Atlantic Equities downgraded Comcast (CMCSA) to neutral from overweight, noting much worse than expected broadband results from the latest earnings. Tune in to find out more.
