Scott Bauer says he needs to see more technical conviction in gold before he buys, despite the fundamental backdrop to be bullish on the inflation front. He says the luster of bitcoin has taken the shine away from gold as a store of value. The VIX is now trading at the lowest levels that we have seen, basically since the pandemic started, so there is clearly some optimism out there on the market and economy.
