The Dow Jones ended down today, long with the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and the Russell 2000. All 11 S&P 500 sectors ended lower with consumer staples, utilities and industrials down by the most. JB Hunt (JBHT) shares ended 5% higher after reporting earnings results. Moderna (MRNA) closed higher after news that its new RSV vaccine using MRNA technology showed an efficacy rate of 83.7% in adults 60 years and older. United Airlines (UAL) closed 4.5% lower, despite earnings that beat expectations.
