The Dow Jones closed up, along with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq-100. Six of the eleven S&P 500 sectors closed higher for the week, with financials being the best reporter. JPMorgan (JPM) shares closed higher after revenue and earnings came in better than analysts forecasted. Citigroup (C) earnings also came in better than expected on higher rates and net interest income. Boeing (BA) shares fell after pausing 737 Max Jet deliveries because of a manufacturing issue. Spirit Aerosystems (SPR) holdings disclosed that it was the supplier and said its working to develop a solution.
